Cursillo: An encounter with Christ
The three day weekend helps you experience your faith more fully. Talks and discussions are led by Catholic lay people and spiritual advisors. The weekend provides time for spiritual direction, daily Mass, confession, private reflection, group discussions, etc.
But Cursillo is more than a retreat! After the weekend, you have the opportunity to join a
Christian faith sharing community that meets regularly and supports one another on the journey.
Atlanta Catholic Cursillo holds spring and fall Cursillo weekends at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers.
Men's weekend is Oct 10-13, 2024.
Women's weekend is Oct 17-20, 2024.
Ultreya usually meets on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
Ultreya members are those who have made the Cursillo weekend and meet monthly to share their faith.
