Every human life is unusual; every life has unique potential; each one's name is engraved on the palm of God's hand.

You have seen items in the Church Bulletin titled "L.I.F.E. CORNER", that's us.
We are the Pro-Life group of our Congregation.
We are a group of parishioners who are deeply concerned with the preservation of life, including, but not limited to issues concerning abortion, euthanasia, assisted death, the death penalty and other areas pertaining to the preservation of life.
Unfortunately, our membership is insufficient to effectively address all these critical concerns, thus limiting us mostly to matters concerning abortion and saving the lives of unborn babies.
Over 61.5 million babies have been murdered in their mother's womb in this country alone since 1973! To put that in perspective, that would be as if every single person living in GA, SC, NC, FL, AL, and TN were murdered!
We are involved in multiple projects throughout the year to include such things as: Novena For Life; Baby Bottle Boomerang; Spiritual Adoption; Baby Shower; and supporting Crossroads Pregnancy Center in their efforts.

Right to Life Pledge
Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life, and for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.
I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion, yet I rejoice that you have conquered death by the Resurrection of Your Son.
I am ready to do my part in ending abortion.
Today I commit myself
Never to be silent,
Never to be passive,
Never to be forgetful of the unborn.
I commit myself to be active in the Pro-life movement, and never to stop defending life until all my brothers and sisters are protected, and our nation once again becomes a nation with liberty and justice not just for some, but for all.
Through Christ our Lord,

Mothers Considering Abortion
that only You can give.
We know this woman's
great pain, uncertainty, shame,
humiliation and fear.
I ask that You touch her, Lord,
and let the child within her grow,
come to light, and on day see you
face-to-face.
Take away her fears. Take away
everything that makes her uncertain.
And Lord, I ask you to heal the
relationship between family members
who have so much tension at this point
and confusion.
Lord, we put this wonderful family
in Your hands and ask You to heal
them, that we may present a child
one day to the world. We ask Mary
our Mother to pray with them
and bless them.

Protectress of the Unborn Virgin of Guadalupe, Patroness of the unborn children, we implore your intercession for every child at risk of abortion. Help expectant parents to welcome from God the priceless gift of their child's live.
Console parents who have lost that gift through abortion and lead them to forgiveness and healing through the Divine Mercy of your Son.
Teach us to cherish and to care for family and friends until God calls them home. Help us never to see others as burdens.
Guide our public officials to defend each and every human life through just laws. Inspire us all to bring our faith into public life, to speak for those who have no voice.
We ask this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, who is Love and Mercy itself.
